Musica Universalis (Music of the Spheres) by Carrie Martinez 2016

This week's painting is titled "Musica Universalis (Music of the Spheres" and is an exploration of the “Music of the Spheres”, the philosophy of how the orbit of planets and celestial bodies resonate with their own unique vibration, thus confirming the perfection of nature and sacred geometry. We are the spiritual bridge between the Earth and the Cosmos. In our evolved and transcendent state, we are the conduit for that spiritual energy to flow, and we also resonate with our own unique vibration.

I started this painting at a live show, and it was the second painting I completed in my new hometown of Gainesville. Coming in May I have a big surprise regarding this image, can't wait to share it with you! Here are some pictures of the painting process:
