I do hope the above quote is true, because as a mother I tend to have very little time to indulge in painting. Sometimes there are days and days where I am unable to sit at the easel, yet still I am proceeding, even though sporadically, as if success is inevitable. I missed a few days of art meditation over the weekend because of family obligations, but I can't give up or become frustrated or that will defeat the whole purpose of this practice. Today I was able to focus and add more details to my gardenia painting...dreaming of spring flowers :)
