Booth Design 101

I have had fun the last few days experimenting with various booth designs to optimize sales at my first event this Thursday in San Francisco.  Here is my final prototype.  I had to substitute for my art which is still at the printer, but will be ready the day of the show (is that cutting it close or what??).  Enjoy!

Antique drawers to hold Greeting Cards and Postcards

Canvas Giclee Prints behind drawer display
"The Giving Tree" original art for donation...100% proceeds to go to nonprofit causes and charities (this event I will donate to Women's Causes)

Star in front holds business cards, boxes on right contain poster prints
Standing antique drawer to display cards

It was rather difficult to fit everything onto the table, and lack of time meant rummaging through my house for supplies, which I am ecstatic to have found everything I needed.   I did get to thrift shop for the Giving Tree display, which I will use at all of my events to hold ATCs (Artist Trading Cards).  All of the profits from the Giving Tree Art sales will be donated to various nonprofit causes and charities.   Now its on to San Francisco to pick up my artwork.  Only a couple of days to go til my first event!!

To all the amazing, inspiring, strong, visionary, peacemaking women in the world, I honor you today on International Women's Day!

I really love your displays. The antique drawers are so perfect! Don't give up. Shows are all different, you just have to find the right ones. Talking to the other artists always helps to get info on where they have had successful shows. Your work is beautiful so keep plugging away, girl.
